Inquiry

Inquiry Focus:
Social Sciences and Health.  ANZAC  This term we started off with a rotation of 12 activities.  The students were divided into 12 groups and over 3 days they experienced all of the activities.  This ranged from baking biscuits to making stretchers and making billy tea and eating damper.  The students were fully engaged in all the learning activities and had a whole range of experiences to launch them into our Matrix of inquiry.

Students chose an activity from each row and each column and worked either on their or with others.
Students explored ANZAC in many different ways,  They produced, writing, art, board games, surveys and compared and contrasted ideas.

Here are some examples of their work.
